WOMEN AND WELLNESS LADIES PROGRAM
Women and Wellness a ladies event was organized by the SLMQ ladies group.

This event was attended by 100+ ladies (members and non members) which comprised of an evening of interaction, discussion and learning on physical and mental wellness.

MID YEAR REVIEW AND BREAKFAST
A members get-together which combined a mid-year review of all SLMQ activities was held in July. This gave an opportunity for members to provide their feedback and suggestions on the activities completed and also planed activates and programs for the rest of the year.

4th DOHA ISLAMIC CONVENTION 2019
SLMQ was the co-organizer of this Annual Doha Islamic Conference event, which was held in Katara.

The convention was attended by approximately 4500+ people and featured leading Islamic Scholars from Zimbabwe, US and Ireland.

IDC 2019
SLMQ held its 16th consecutive Annual Independence Day Competition . The program received over 200 registrations among Sri Lankan students from various schools in Qatar, who competed in Colouring, Essay writing, Speech, Mono act and General knowledge quiz.

The program concluded with a food fiesta featuring Sri Lanka dishes/food. HE the Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Qatar graced the event and awards ceremony as the Chief Guest.

SLMQ FOOTBALL TEAM OZEE 7’S
SLMQ fielded a football team that participated in the OZEE 7’s Veterans Football Championship 2019.

The SLMQ team’s performance saw them reach the quarter finals stage of the tournament.

The Sri Lankan Community Football team kicked off its 2019 tournament campaign organized by the Qatar Football Association (QFA).

Under the patronage of SLMQ, the team presented the newly branded jerseys to its players.
